Overview
Our client is a senior health official who has worked across large hospital chains with an in-depth understanding of the public health management system and the complexities involved in running a seamless operation. When the client transferred from one public hospital to another, he noticed some of the trends in patient data management and practice management that were flawed. Public or chain hospitals that work with siloed data and fragmented patient information often face the challenges of re-entering information at every step, across departments, and across cities. There is also the complexity of incomplete information and history leading to diagnostic challenges. Aascent InfoSolutions worked with the client to develop a practice management software that streamlined the operations and enhanced continuity of care.
Use Case and challenges
One of the key challenges in hospital management is fragmented patient information, especially when working with multiple departments and services, such as surgery, diagnosis, X-Ray, OPD/IPD etc. Some of the key challenges our client outlined included

The client approached us to develop a robust Practice Management System (PMS) that could integrate seamlessly into existing hospital admin workflows to ensure a seamless chain of information from birth to death across hospitals, departments, and doctors.
